First Snow 2000
On Oct. 6th the North winds begin to howl.
The temperature drops from 75 degree's to 32 degree's
We were glad the firewood was already cut . We are going to get a little cool tonight.
I have been cutting this same log forever.
Me and Therese headed to Woodruff to pick up pizza's. Brian & Chris were due in about an hour.
It was starting to look allot like Christmas.
Everything went according to plan. Brian reported snow started at Wausau
and that's about 90 miles South of us. They arrived on time safely. Next we unloaded
the jeep to settle in for the night. That's when the storm cut out the power.
Goodbye electric heat.
The next morning was a great surprise.
5 hours without electric, but outside view sure changed.
Brian, Grandma and Lady decided to have a snowball fight.
I just wanted to learn how to walk up hill.
OK, OK, OK I Get It !
We 4 wheeled into town for supplies.
As we past "Bugs Lake" it was time for another photo shot.
It did not look like this yesterday !
The fresh snow sure made an added change to the landscape.
Back at home it sure was pretty.
Lady was out checking the pier and temperature.
Have a merry and safe holiday season.
Summer will return shortly.
